Gus Papadimitriou, 67, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024. Born in Kos, Greece, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Anthoula (Hatzilimis) Papadimitriou.

Gus was a 1975 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. He worked for over 30 years at House of Pizza in Millersville as a pizza maker, retiring in April of 2023. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles and professional wrestling. Gus was also known to be able to fix anything around the house, enjoyed the outdoors, had a sweet tooth like none other, and was a friend to anyone he met. He was a special person that will be dearly missed.

Gus is survived by his 3 siblings: Antonios N., Kathy N., and Aspasia N. Papadimitriou; 2 nephews: Aidan and Alex Stran; cousins in the US, Greece, and Australia; and beloved relatives and friends all over. He was preceded in death by his brother John N. Papadimitriou.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603. The family will receive guests beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park.
