Guadalupe Carrion Reyes, 77, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Villa Altagracia, Dominican Republic, Guadalupe was the daughter of the late Manuel Carrion and Bernadina Reyes. She was the loving wife of Martin Santamaria. Guadalupe worked as a seamstress of women's clothing until her retirement. She was of the Christian faith and deeply loved her family. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, interior design, and loved blue flowers. She was a kind and compassionate person, always willing to help others. In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven children: Maria Santamaria, Epifania Navarro, Virgilia Santamaria, Eulogia Santamaria, Clara Miliano, Valentin Santamaria, and Virgilio Santamaria; 17 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Guadalupe will be held at 12PM, Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will precede the service from 10AM – 12PM. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster.
