Gregory S. "Lunker" Forbes, 55, of Newport, died on August 14, 2020 at Hershey Medical Center following a brief illness. Born October 18, 1964 in Harrisburg, PA, Gregory was the son of Alice Jane (Mundis) Tezak and his late step-father, Paul Tezak.

He was formerly employed by Stroehmann's Bakery as a foreman and later at Remco, Inc., a construction company, as a driver.

Lunker was a member of Pagan's Motorcycle Club. He was an avid motorcycle rider and was always willing to give a helping hand.

In addition to his mother, Gregory is survived by three children: Katrina Forbes, Jamie Forbes, and Gregory Forbes; a sister: Tammy Barbush wife of Sam; two step-brothers: Scott Tezak and Alan Tezak; as well as one niece and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gregory's honor can be made to the American Kidney Fund , 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Sunday, August 23, 2020, with Pastor Robert Nilram officiating at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 under the south lawn tent. The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00AM at the funeral home.
