Graciela "Lucy" Perez, 84, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on June 24, 2025. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Ramon and Tomasa Perez.

Lucy was a dedicated homemaker and loved being surrounded by family, friends, laughter, and love. She was a true matriarch and rock of her family. Lucy was an amazing cook and enjoyed hosting gatherings at her home. She had an open-door policy and would let anyone stay at her home if they needed a safe place. Lucy will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Graciela is survived by 6 children: Ida Olivencia, Jessie Hernandez, Ivy Hernandez, David Rivera, Delilah Mercado, and Maria Mercado; and a host of beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her companion, Osvaldo Mercado, and 5 children: Heriberto, Mary Lee, Randolph, Ruben, and Noel.

The family will receive guests at the residence, 36 Conestoga Street, Lancaster, PA 17603, from Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 4 PM to Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 1 PM . In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Lucy's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
