Grace C. Silfies, 83, of  Lititz  died  August 4, 2007 at Moravian Manor. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Grace Hacker Long. Grace was employed by the former St. Joseph Hospital as a transportation aid for the X-ray department. She was a member of Lancaster Moravian Church.

Surviving are three children: Dorothy wife of James Koogler, Collegeville, Pa., Beverly wife of Richard Horton Lititz, Pa., a son: James husband of Michele Silfies of Jupiter FLA., four grandchildren: Richard P. Horton II, Kristen M. Fisher, Amanda L. Paone, James R. Silfies, and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Koogler Ament.

Funeral services will be held at Lancaster Moravian Church, 1460  Eden Road, Lancaster, Pa on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 1:00PM. Interment will be in Millersville  Mennonite Cemetery. The  family will receive friends at the church from 12:30PM until the time of the service. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made in Grace's memory to Moravian Manor, 300 W.
