Gordon H. Becker II, of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 3 ^rd at Lancaster General Hospital following a lengthy battle with lung cancer.

Born in York, PA , he was the husband of Gaynor (Sterner) Becker and the son of the late Gordon H. Becker and Josephine (Shindel) Becker of York, PA.

In addition to his wife, Gordon will be remembered lovingly by his children, Gordon, III, husband of Kathy Becker, of York, PA and Christine M., wife of Kevin O'Connor, of Quakertown, PA; his grandchildren, Lydia E. Becker,  Kyle P., Carrie A. , Kristen M. and Katelyn J. O'Connor; and his sister, Brenda J Becker, of Lancaster, PA.

Most recently Gordon was part of  the maintenance department of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Lancaster, PA.  Prior to his illness he was employed by Automated Composition in Lancaster, PA and Atlis Graphic and Design in Camp Hill, PA

A member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lancaster, PA, Gordy was a devoted fan of Penn State Football, and he found great joy in tailgating at the home games with a close circle of friends.  Gordy also liked to spend time with nature enjoying camping, fishing,  hunting and  kayaking.

Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from St. Anthony of Padua, 501 East Orange Street, Lancaster at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 28 ^th .

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Gordon's name be sent to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 East Orange Street, Lancaster, PA 17602.
