Obituary

Gloria E. Brandt, 89, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Conestoga View Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Harry W. Brandt, Jr. who passed away in 1996.

Born in Lancaster she was a daughter of the late Cornelius E. and Ethel Mae (Burley) Jones. Gloria worked as a waitress for 24 years at the Howard Johnson Motel and later was a waitress at the Red Rose Restaurant. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lancaster where she was active with the Legion of Mary and the Altar Society. Gloria enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her five children Bonnie, wife of Clayton Hutchins of Willow Street, PA, Lee R. Brandt husband of Gail of Baltimore, MD, Linda, wife of Harry Kramer of Conestoga, PA, Lori, wife of Vaugh Clement and Londa Seachrist both of Lancaster, PA; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one sister Patricia Keen of Lancaster, PA. Gloria was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Shelly & Glen, three brothers Jack, Robert and Paul Jones and a son-in-law Donald Seachrist.

Graveside services will be conducted by Fr. Allan F. Wolfe on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 12:30PM from St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, 170 Charles Rd., Lancaster, PA 17603.
