Glenn Edwin Gehman, 87, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025. Born in New Holland, PA, he was the son of the late Edwin and Sarah (Weaver) Gehman. He was married 55 years to his beloved wife JoAnn (Bachtel) Gehman.

Glenn was a graduate of Warwick Twp. High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in English from Millersville State Teacher's College and taught English in Avon Grove Area School District, where he also coached baseball. He returned to the Lancaster area to teach at Lincoln Junior High School. While teaching in Lancaster, Glenn received his master's degree in guidance and counseling at Millersville State University. He served as a guidance counselor at Reynold's Junior High School until his retirement in 1995. Glenn enjoyed 10 years working at the Manheim Auto Auction after retirement. Glenn was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill, serving in many capacities. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, birdwatching, reading, baseball, and was an avid Phillies fan.

In addition to his wife JoAnn, he is survived by 2 children: Andrew M. Gehman and Jeanine M. Machon; grandson Daniel Machon, III; and 4 siblings: Ronald Gehman, H. Pauline Garner, Geraldine Baker, and Shirley Grube. He was predeceased by 4 siblings: Margaret Miller, Lois Brooks, Clyde Gehman, and James Gehman.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 2 PM at Salem Lutheran Church, 26 Owl Hill Road, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will receive guests beginning at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Glenn's name to Salem Lutheran Church.
