"He Looked Beyond My Faults and Saw My Needs"
The earthly, physical beginning of Glen Bannie Spearman was August 4, 1960 in Philadelphia, PA. His transition occurred, December 21, 2020 at home in Lancaster, PA.

Glen was educated in the Philadelphia School System and was employed by the Philadelphia Naval Yard until a devastating accident rendered him temporarily disabled. He served as head of the mens department, leading men's prayers on Saturdays. He was also a choir member and loved to sing.

He inherited a step-son, Saleem Elo, who became not only his son, but his best friend and confidant, they were very close, they were inseparable. He had 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Glen was a free-spirited person, a family-oriented person, and an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His extended family loved him dearly. Glen's sudden demise has devastated all who knew and loved him.

Hold Us Up Lord Lord, we know you're always busy, for you have many things to do. But, when sorrow over comes us, well, we'll need to talk to you. For we've lost someone precious and he is with you there above. And it's someone that we needed, and it's someone that we love. We are feeling lost and all alone, and though we do believe, We need you Lord to hold us up, to help us while we grieve.
