Gladys E. "Tootie" Mellinger, 96, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Manor Care of Lancaster.

She was the wife of the late Harvey B. Mellinger, who passed away in 1993. Born in Witmer, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Emma Coble Wolfe.

Gladys had been a homemaker, and enjoyed playing cards and games, dining out, and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of Leola United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. married to Betty Lou Mellinger of Lancaster and by her 6 grandchildren,16 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 10-11AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM.
