Gladys R. Cook, 94, of Lancaster passed away Monday, February 6, 2017. She was the wife of the late Charles T. Cook.

Born in Puseyville, PA she was a daughter of the late John G. and Florence (Myers) Rylee. Gladys worked for Kerr Glass and Hubley Toys as a factory worker and after retirement worked at Your Place Restaurant. Her and her late husband Charles owned and operated Cooks Fruit and Vegetable Stand on Rt. 340 from 1977 until 2001. Gladys enjoyed reading novels and watching Turner Classic Movies.

She is survived by her son Charles T. Cook, II husband of Kaori of Burbank, CA; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and a son-in-law Barry Heiserman of Lancaster, PA Gladys was preceded in death by her daughter Carole A. Heiserman, six brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:30PM from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St. Millersville, PA 17551. Burial will take place in Conestoga Memorial Park. There will be no viewing or visitation.
