Gilton C. "Gil" Greenholt, 78 died at his East Lampeter Township home on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Born in Hanover, he was the son of the late Harold J. and Mary A. Nicholson Greenholt. Gil was married to C. Joyce Wheeler Greenholt for 58 years last May.

He worked as a printer for Science Press in Ephrata for 20 years. Currently a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, he previously belonged to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church for 30 years. Gil enjoyed golfing, woodworking and building grandfather clocks.

In addition to his wife Joyce, Gil is survived by three children: Deborah E. Craig of Lancaster, Susan K. Kleiman, wife of Steven, of York, and Craig A. Greenholt, husband of Christy, of Lexington, KY; three grandchildren: Marisa, Courtney and Brandon; great-grandson Nikolis Owens and nine siblings: John, Daniel, Kevin, Thomas, Joseph, Mary Anne, Teresa, Margaret and Jane. Gil was predeceased by his brothers Richard and Robert.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 AM Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Road, Lancaster, PA, with The Rev. Msgr. Richard A. Youtz as Celebrant.
