Gilbert Myers, Jr., 82 of Lititz, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday January 11, 2021. Born January 26, 1938 in Lititz, Gilbert was the son of the late Gilbert Sr. and Grace (Frederick) Myers. On February 1, 1958, Gilbert married his loving wife, Dolores Getz. They went on to celebrate 62 years of marriage together.

For most of his career, Gilbert was a professional brick mason. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing poker and spending time with his family and grandchildren who he adored greatly.

Gilbert is survived by his wife: Dolores Myers; three sons: Jeffrey Myers, Rodney Myers, and Brian Myers husband of Laurie; a sister: Phyllis King wife of Amos; as well as two grandchildren: Denton Myers-Pollock husband of Becky and Danielle Myers companion of Khoal Petticoffer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

Services for Gilbert are being held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gilbert's honor can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation , 6520 N. Andrews Ave Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2132.
