Gertrude M. Keller, 97, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017. She was the wife of the late Harry H. Keller, who passed away in 2000. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Rosa Fritsch Ganse. Gertrude had been a homemaker and had also worked for the Bell Telephone Company. She liked to travel out west with her nephew, and enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Gertrude was a 1937 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and was a member of St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church. She is survived by her children: Henry H. married to Delilah Keller of Laureldale, PA and Carol A. married to William Horst of Lancaster; her 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and her sister, Edna Duschl of Nokomis, FL. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Eileen Scheid, her grandson John Scheid, her great grandson Derek Scheid, and her siblings: Mary Roland, Rose Judith, Esther Tageson, Margaret Hecker, and Harry Ganse. Friends will be received on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 10-11AM at St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA, with the Mass to follow at 11AM.
