Geraldine L. Shenk, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Woodcrest Villa.

She was the wife of the late Clayton S. Shenk, who passed away in 2007. Born in Quarryville, she was the daughter of the late Willis C. and Edith LeFever Zander.

She had been the owner of Jerry's Dress Shop on Ocean Ave. in Lancaster for over 30 years. She had also earlier worked at the RCA Corporation.

Jerry enjoyed traveling with her husband to both Hawaii and Florida where they had homes. She also enjoyed shopping.

She is survived by her sisters: Elnora, married to Benjamin Doulin of Willow Street, Dorothy Tout of Lancaster, and Anna Mary,married to Kim Wagner of Little Britain, PA. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Helen Dull, Clara Mae Sheaffer and Miriam Herr and by her brother, Willis C. Zander Jr. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family wished to thank the staff of MediQuest for the great personal care provided to Jerry for many years.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 10-11AM from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA, with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM, the Rev. Roy Wise officiating. Interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
