Obituary

Geraldine E. Greblowski, 73, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Sunday, November 29, 2015. Born in Johnstown, PA, Geraldine was the daughter of the late Eugene George and Mary Baka Hillegas. Musmy, as she was affectionately called by many, loved being with her family, especially her granddaughters. She enjoyed listening to music and randomly singing an obscure song that we were convinced she made up but just happened to be real…"beep beep, beep beep, his horn went beep, beep, beep…" Her favorite music was anything by Elvis "Pretzel Stick." She loved to make her family smile and laugh. She would do this sometimes by doing the " mom dance" or just giving us one of her famous sayings like, "If you can't see in the dark, you can't see." She was thoughtful, kind, compassionate, loving, giving, and always thinking of her family. She enjoyed reading her bible. She was the best "Gam Gam" in the world and loved to give and receive Squeeze-ies. (Hugs for those of you who don't know Gam Gam's lingo.) She was loved and adored by her family, Lewis E., husband of Melissa Greblowski, Latrobe, PA, Andrea, wife of Hailu Tilahun, Ephrata, PA, Elaine Greblowski, Lancaster, PA, grandchildren, Britney E. Miller, (the light of Gam Gam's life), Norah and Sarah Greblowski (her shining stars), and two brothers, Albert Hillegas and Dennis Hillegas, husband of Maryann Hillegas, all living in Delaware. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Regis, Joann, and Ralph Hillegas. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Geraldine's life on Sunday, December 6, 2015, 4:00 P.M. at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with The Bishop Allen Zerbe officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until time of service. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, PA on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Gregory Church, 120 Boltz Street, Johnstown, PA 15902 at 11:30 A.M. on Monday with The Rev. Robert L. Ruston officiating.
