Gerald E. Swinehart, 67, of Lititz, PA, passed away on April 29, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Ernest C. Swinehart & Janet Mary (Wilfong) Swinehart. Gerald enjoyed watching Professional Wrestling. He liked spending time on the family farm & mountain properties. Gerald also enjoyed spending time with his best buddy, his brother-in-law, Wendell Sr. He loved his Rottweiler, Cyrus. Surviving is a sister, Dolly T. Gainer, wife of Wendell; nephews, William Gainer, husband of Tiffny, Wendell Gainer, Jr., husband of Linh; niece: Kelly Jankowski; great-nephews: Matthew & Jack Gainer; great-niece: Emma Gainer; and life-long best friends: Buddy & Jason Peters. He was preceded in death by siblings: Ruth A. Sangrey & Howard C. Swinehart. Gerald will be remembered for his kindness and gentle demeanor & personality, who would give his shirt off of his back to help anyone in need. A Memorial Service will be at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Friends will be received prior to the service from 6-7 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Please Omit Flowers.
