Gerald "Jerry" Mann, 82, passed away at his Kinzers, PA, residence on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, with his loving family by his side. He shared 37 years of marriage with his wife Carla Ann (Gray) Mann.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Henry and Henrietta (Kershman) Mann. Jerry graduated from Jamaica High School in 1958. Jerry was an avid baseball player and Yankees fan, and he went onto play for the minor leagues as a left-handed pitcher.

He was drafted into the United States Army in 1960 at the age of 19. Jerry later became an electrician with the IBEW Local #3 in New York in 1965 until he retired in 2001.

Jerry was passionate about playing racquetball, softball, and golf. He also enjoyed deep sea fishing, puttering in the yard, and listening to his favorite music. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, all of whom brought Jerry endless joy.

Surviving Jerry are his wife, Carla, son Wayne Mann, husband of Jenny, son Russell Mann, daughter, Danielle (Mann), wife of Kyle Letendre; four grandchildren: Morgan (Mann), wife of Louis Buban, who are expecting Jerry's first great-grandson, and Madison Mann, Arlo Letendre, and Lily Letendre; and his brother Jay Joseph Mann, husband of Ellen.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister Doris, wife of the late Harry Gottlieb.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held on his next birthday, April 20, 2024, at his place of residence in Kinzers, PA.
