Gerald E. "Jerry" Wissler, 73, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at his Manheim Twp. home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Oscar and Mary Stumpf Wissler. Gerald was married to Janice Rund Wissler for 34 years.

Jerry was the founder and owner of Brewers Outlet in Manheim Twp. for 46 years. An animal lover, he was a master breeder of Muffed Tumbler Pigeons. He loved woodworking, including making cabinetry, Windsor chairs and building homes. Jerry also enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Surviving in addition to his wife Janice are five children: Matthew, husband of Erin Pursell Wissler, Hamilton, VA, Emily Wissler and companion Noah Enck, Lancaster, Kevin, husband of Susan Felker Wissler, Lancaster, Daphne Wissler, Lancaster, and Tina Wissler, Florida; five grandchildren: Samuel, Foster, Matthew, Bridget and Kaitlyn; and six siblings: Vernon Wissler, Melvin Wissler, husband of Joan, Carl Wissler, husband of Peggy, Michael Wissler, husband of Donna, Yvonne, wife of Bob Koppehele and Patricia Styer, all of Lancaster. Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers Rodney and Mervin Wissler.

The Funeral will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 14, 2013, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, with Pastor Mark J. Thiboldeaux officiating.
