Gerald G. Herr, 77, of Willow Street passed away on August 26, 2025.

Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Christian and Helen Herr. Gerald was the devoted husband of Joni Herr.

He was a graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School and spent much of his career working at Powl's Feed Mill. Known for his strong work ethic, Gerald was happiest when keeping busy. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, tending to his garden, and caring for animals. Above all, he deeply loved his family and gave them everything he could.

In addition to his wife, Joni, Gerald is survived by his son, Steve Herr; grandchild, Gary; and brothers, Jay, Donald and Dale Herr.

Services will be held at Charles Snyder Funeral Home III, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Williow Street PA on Monday, September 15 at 11am. A time to greet will be held prior to service from 10-11am.

In lieu of flowers family requests friends to donate to a charity of choice, care for an animal or do something kind for a stranger.
