Georgiann D. Rittenhouse, 57, of Lancaster, passed away, Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at her residence. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Mary (Shertzer) Heiney and the late Claude Heiney. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Rittenhouse, who passed away in 2004.

Georgiann enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and playing cards.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Mary are 2 sisters; Lori Grove of Lancaster and Sandy Turner wife of Barry of Lancaster. 2 brothers; Wesley Heiney of Lancaster and John Heiney husband of Kate of New Jersey. Several nieces and nephews. And a grand niece Haley (Wee-one) whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Jay, Phillip, and George her twin brother.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 441 N. George St. Millersville 17551 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Conrad  officiating. Family and Friends will be received before the service at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Interment will private and at the convenience of the family.
