Georgette Marie Schickel, 49, of Lancaster, died Sunday February 23, 2014, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. She was born in Lancaster to Dawn Schickel Landis of Lancaster.

A graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, Georgette owned a commercial cleaning business. She was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed shopping, watching the food network and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving Georgette are her grandmother Mary Schickel, mother Dawn Landis and fiancé William E. McNeil, Sr., all of Lancaster; son Shane Schickel of Columbia and son Ryan McNeil and daughter Kristine McNeil both of Lancaster; grandchildren Raniyah and Ryleyah McNeil, Paige Schickel and Antuane Worthy, Jr.; and her brother Rocky Landis and her sister Mary McVey.

A Memorial Service will take place Friday, February 28, 2014 at 3:30 pm, at Maple Grove Community Center, 1420 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603. Private Interment in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
