George D. Maddox, 64, of Revere, MA, passed away on August 10, 2014 unexpectedly. Born in Biddeford, ME, he was the son of Gertrude V. (Tulaba) Stasiak of East Petersburg, PA and the late Julian J. Stasiak.

George was a housing inspector and was in property management for the city of Worcester, MA. He loved baseball and football. The Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots were his favorite teams. George was an avid reader, cribbage player and sports fan.

A Vietnam Veteran, George served in the U.S. Army, receiving 2 bronze stars, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
