Gavin John Maser, 31, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 16, 2019. Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of Gretchen (Hoffmayer) and Robert C. Maser.

Gavin was a graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School and Brownstown CTC. He attended HACC, as well as college in Scranton, PA. Gavin was a talented photographer and artist. He enjoyed skateboarding, art, music and his daughters. He also enjoyed watching movies with his family and friends. Gavin loved his pets: Edward, She-she and Yoseph, but especially his beloved cat, Popcorn.

Gavin was involved in the Anti-heroin task force. He worked with the local D.A. and police forces speaking at 6 local High Schools as well as Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

In addition to his parents, Gavin is survived by his daughters: Kaydence and Irie Maser both of Lancaster; his siblings: Neil Maser (Sarah) and Nora Maser of Lancaster; his aunts: Kathy Tshudy of Leola, Tina Rambler of Lancaster, and Lynda Kimball (Henry) of Glenora, NY, as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Robert N. and Lorraine Maser; his maternal grandparents: Gretchen Stratton and Raymond Hoffmayer, his great-grandmother Edna Fitzpatrick and his Godfather, Robert L. Tshudy.

Family and friends will be received from 1-3 PM on Sunday, June 23 followed by a Celebration of Gavin's Life at 3PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Interment will be private.
