Gary E. Johnson, 56, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Delaware County, PA. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, he was the only child of the late John E. Johnson and the late Frances P. (Carroll) Johnson. Gary was the long time beloved companion of Sandra M. Borger, with whom he resided.

Prior to becoming disabled due to health issues, Gary was self-employed as a taxi cab driver. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed going to the Lancaster Barnstormers baseball games and, although he "lived in a house divided", he remained devoted to the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. Gary enjoyed listening to classic rock music and spending time with family and friends.

Gary is survived by his companion, Sandra, and her family: her twin brother, Sam Borger of Ephrata, and her sister, Debra, wife of David Wetzel, of Palmerton. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
