Frederick W. Ebner, Jr., 84, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on January 11, 2016 at Landis Homes. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frederick & Anna (Baral) Ebner. He attended Philadelphia Catholic Diocesan schools and graduated from LaSalle College. Frederick served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1952-1954. He retired to Lancaster County after 32 years of Federal Service. Surviving is his wife, Mary A. Ebner of Lancaster, PA; daughter & son-in-law, Jean and Mark Gilbertson; two grandsons, James and John; grand-daughter-in-law, Allison, all from Fairfax, VA; also survived by two sisters, Ruth Depman and Dorothy Grammel, both of Philadelphia, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Mary Mother of the Church, 625 Union School Road, Mount Joy, PA 17552. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, make donations to American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
