Frederick "Fred" Busswood, 91, passed away on Thursday, March 21 at Lancaster General Hospital.

He was born in Elmira, New York to the late Fred and Frances Busswood. Fred was the beloved husband of the late Roberta "Bobbi" Busswood for almost 65 years. They lived in Conestoga for many years then moved to Millersville.

In Conestoga Fred was involved in the Lions Club and Jaycees. He worked 37 years at Flex Steel Furniture Lancaster.

Fred and Bobbi enjoyed traveling and went to Hawaii numerous times as well as Maine, Vermont, Kentucky, and others. He loved bluebirds, guitar music, '56 Chevy, VW bugs. He enjoyed woodworking making bird houses, bird feeders, corn hole & lasso golf games. He loved to tell jokes and was quite a talker! In his later years he enjoyed his friends at the Millersville Senior Center & living at Millersville Manor apartments.

Fred is survived by his daughter Linda M., wife of Bill Herr, son, Craig A. Busswood, his sister, Fran Rankin, and his late brother, Ron, married to Mariane Busswood, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

There will not be a service, but you can drop in to visit with family on Thursday April 4 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 N. George St. Millersville from 3 to 5PM.
