Frank J. Roda, 82, of Lancaster, died Friday, March 6, 2015, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Jersey City, NJ, to the late Frank A. and Domenica (Familiari) Roda, he was married to Shirley A. (McKenna) Roda for 59 years.

A graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School, Frank served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a self-employed restauranteur and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife Shirley, are his daughter Michele N. Roda, Lancaster; his sister, Joanna M., wife of Joseph P. Pawlikowski of Lancaster; and his brother, Joseph D. "JD" Roda, husband of Rebecca S. (Reynolds) of Landisville.

Frank's family will greet friends 10 to 11 am, followed by a Christian Prayer Service led by Rev. Peter I. Hahn at 11 AM, on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 East King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Private Inurnment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. Please omit flowers.
