Frank J. Giaqunito, Sr., 72, of Lancaster, passed away on March 9, 2026 in Lancaster, PA.

He was the husband of Carolyn J. DiCarlo Giaquinto, with whom he would have shared 50 years of marriage this coming May 26th. Born in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Vincent and Michelina Rossi Giaquinto.

Frank loved pizza and had been in the pizza business for many years with his family, owning Gia’s Pizzeria on Long Island. After moving to Lancaster, he was a well-known waiter at many local restaurants such as Bob Evans, the Cracker Barrel and the local Friendly’s Restaurants.

He was a member of the Worship Center.

Frank was a big Elvis Presley fan, and made friends easily, known for being a man who could strike up a conversation with anyone he met. He enjoyed watching old westerns and Chuck Norris movies and shows. He was also a fan of the New York Yankees.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, Carolyn, by his children: Frank J. “Frankie” Jr. of Lancaster, and Jessica of Manheim, and by his brother, James “Jimmy” married to Leanna Giaquinto of Merrick, NY. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent and John Giaquinto.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 12:00pm at Worship Center 2384 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.
