Frank DeVere, 63, of Lititz, went to be with the Lord December 1, 2023. Born in Dortmund, Germany, he was the son of Clifford and Ursula DeVere. He worked for over 19 years as a Senior Final Assembly operator at Sechan Electronics.

He loved hiking, fishing, gardening or simply absorbing the beauty and peace he found in nature. Many will remember Frank as a horticulturalist because of his ability to turn one small plant or sapling into something beautiful. Frank was known to spend time listening to music, watching Monty Python, relaxing with his dog Prince, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and providing feedback on the latest political happenings.

Most importantly, Frank was an amazing father and Pop Pop. He loved sharing time with his family and treasured their time together. He taught his children and grandchildren that God and family come first.

Frank is survived by his parents Clifford and Ursula DeVere, daughters, Melissa Downing of New Holland, Jessica DeVere of Lititz, and Major Crystal M. Davis, USAF of Oak Hill, VA; grandchildren, Gage & Reese Downing, Summer DeVere and Scarlett Lapham, and brothers, Kirk DeVere of Lancaster, and Clark DeVere of Mechanicsburg.

The family will receive guests at the Spacht Snyder Family Funeral Home, 127 S. Broad St. Lititz, PA 17543, on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 2-3 PM. Memorial contributions in Frank's name may be made to the Middle Creek Wildlife Refuge via the PA Game Commission .
