Frank F. Bachman, 94, of Washington Boro, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Mary E. (Witmer) Bachman, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage.

Born in Pequea Township, he was a son of the late John I. and Eva (Frymyer) Bachman.

He attended Stehman, which was a one room schoolhouse, through childhood. He worked various jobs, including a dairy farm, hardware store and escavating. He then joined Millersville Borough as an equipment operator for 25 years. During this time he was also a volunteer for the Millersville Fire Company.

Following his retirement, Frank enjoyed his time spent working on his son Bob's farm. Farming was Frank's true passion in life. He also enjoyed hunting, all dogs, telling stories and going on drives through the local area.

Surviving Frank, in addition to his wife Mary, are his son, Robert Bachman (Cindy); his grandson, Andrew Bachman; his great granddaughter, Isla Bachman; and his brother, Harold Bachman (Betty Ann) along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters, Ruth (Rodger), Park (Ester), Earl (Ester), Grace (Elvin), Mary (George), Clyde, Lloyd (Nancy), Betty, and Elsie (Ray).

Previously scheduled services on January 10, 2026, have been postponed due to illness. Services will be rescheduled at the convenience of family.  Interment was held privately for the family in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Frank may be made to Bethany EC Church of Cresswell, 1165 Letort Road, Conestoga, PA 17516. The family would like to express their gratitude for Frank's exceptional care by the staff at Oak Leaf Manor South and the Ascend hospice team.
