Francisca Paz Montes, 82, of Lancaster, passed away on Thurs., Sept. 29, 2011. She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel A. Montes in 2010 in PR.

Francisca was a member of San Juan Bautista Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary.

She enjoyed playing bingo, trips to the casinos, and visiting (SACA) Spanish Senior Center.

Francisca is survived by 11 children, 35 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 11am at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church 425 S. Duke St. Lancaster, PA with The Rev. Allen Wolfe as Celebrant. Viewing 10-11am prior to Mass. Interment will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spanish American Civic Assoc.
