Francis Danette Arredondo, 55 of Lancaster PA, was wrapped in God's loving arms, Friday, July 2, 2021, Surrounded by her family at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy PA.

Born in Winnsboro, SC, she was the daughter of Hattie Alston and the late Jessie James Alston.

Francis was the Loving and devoted wife of Anastacio Arredondo for over 25 years. Their partnership was one of selflessness, Joy, and deep friendship that will last for eternity. Together they merged two cultures and built a phenomenal legacy. Anastacio is a fantastic husband and father that stood by Francis' side until she transitioned into God's care.

Francis was a 1984 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High and entrepreneur. She owned LSR Cleaning Services.

Francis loved the Lord and showed everyone she came into contact with Agape love. One of her favorite sayings was, "If you make one step, God will make two". This encouraged many to trust God and not to lean on their own understanding. Her faith in God gave her strength to face all challenges that came her way. She had a smile that would light up a room and a heart of gold.

Francis had a special talent for making jewelry, she loved to cook, and enjoyed going shopping with her friends and family. In more recent years, as it became more difficult for her to get out, she discovered shopping online at Amazon.

Francis opened her home to everyone and made everyone feel special. She loved to keep it real because she believed honesty was the best policy. The love that she displayed was a reflection of God's grace and mercy.

Francis' greatest love was her family; she is survived by her Mother Hattie Alston, her husband Anastacio Arredondo, her children Laquandra Sweeney (Ishnii Sweeney), Tyquan Bynum (Maria DaGraca), Sharay Arredondo, Reyon Arredondo and Laray Arredondo. Francis was an exceptional Mom-Mom to Liviiah, Sariiah, Quincy, Addilynn, Jessalynn, Cameron, Emilia, Niijae, and a baby girl on the way. Francis is also survived by her siblings James Alston, William Alston, Timothy Alston, Dorothy Pilgrim, Christina Mills, Anthony Alston and a Host of nieces and Nephews.

Francis is predeceased by her baby boy Anastacio Arredondo, Jr. and her loving niece Jessica Maria Pilgrim.

Francis had a beautiful soul and made a remarkable impact on the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed. Funeral Services for Francis will be held at 1PM, Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 701 N. Lime St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
