Felix Hernandez-Cotto, 79, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Lancaster Regional Hospital. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, he was the husband of Aida Luz Hernandez of Lancaster, and the son of the late Leonardo Hernandez and Elena Cotto. Felix adored his children and grandchildren, and was a caregiver to his wife, Aida. Felix was an active member of the Puerto Rican Committee of Lancaster. In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by 2 daughters: Migdalia "Mindy" Morales and her husband Luis of Lancaster and Madeline Sanchez and her husband Chris of DE; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by a son, Felix Hernandez, and a brother. A time of sharing will take place from 10 AM to 1 PM on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
