IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Felicita
Fret-Pagan
September 16, 2024
Felicita Fret-Pagan, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Penn State Lancaster Hospital. Born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Tomas Fret and Marcela Lozada.
Felicita was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was the heart of her family, nurturing everyone with her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering support. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel special, never forgetting a birthday, and always singing in celebration. Her sense of humor and sharp wit brightened the lives of her family, and no matter how old her kids got, she continued to mother them and take care of them when they needed it. An avid lover of word searches, bingo, and music, Felicita found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her greatest expression of love was through her cooking—each dish she made was a testament to her devotion to her family. She also had a green thumb, tending to her plants.
She is survived by her children, Ada (Edgar) Delvalle, Jose Pagan, Marilyn Nixdorf, Carlos Pagan, Frances (Graling) Cantrell, Bruce Lee Comas, and Mia Jennifer (Isaac) Molina; her siblings, Tomas Fret, Arcadio Fret, Victor Fret, Annie Fret, and Iris Nieves; 24 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Rufino, Edwin, Silverio, and Fermín.
A memorial service will be held at 6PM on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
