Fae M. Allen, 99, of Lititz, PA, passed away on August 23, 2018 at Brethren Village Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen (Erb) Musser. Fae was the loving wife to the late F. Paul Gates. Fae did a lot of volunteer work throughout her life. She volunteered at Brethren Village, the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD, and at Lancaster General Hospital where she enjoyed working with children. She enjoyed sewing in her pass time and traveling all over the world. Fae is survived by a nephew, Rodney Musser, husband of Lucy, of Lititz, PA. She is preceded in death by a brother, Burton Musser, and numerous nieces & nephews. Services will be private. Fae will be laid to rest beside her husband, F. Paul Gates, at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to National Institutes of Health, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20892.
