It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our father, Fabian Gonzalez Sr., 78, of Lancaster after a 17-year battle with cancer. Born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Ricardo Gonzalez and Herminia Huertas.

He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his companion of over 20 years, Mercedes, his three children; Fabian Gonzalez Jr. and his wife Terry, Michelle Good and her husband Tim, and Michael Gonzalez and his wife Lisa. He has three grandchildren, Ashley, Nicholas, and Jordan, and three great-grandchildren Stella, Grayson, and Eden. He is also survived by his siblings; Carlos, Angel, Migdalia, Enid, and Margarita and a host of extended family and bonus grandchildren that he shared with Mercedes. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Iris Medina.

We would like to thank Hospice & Community Care for all their help and care for our father. You have been a tremendous support team for our family.
