Obituary

Everett L. Warner, 96 of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was the son of Harold E. Warner and Edith (Frost) Warner and was married to Jeanie F. (Murray) Warner for 67 years. Mr. Warner graduated from Springfield Technical High School and attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He was a veteran of WWII and served at Edgewood Arsenal in Maryland. Everett was active in the church as a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and member of the Bell Ringers at the Church of the Pilgrimage in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He took up golf when he was 53 and played until he was 85. He got a hole-in-one when he was 79. He was an avid reader and enjoyed square dancing. Mr. Warner was a chemist and worked at Plymouth Cordage Company, Gudebrod Brothers Silk Co. in Pottstown, PA and Ludlow Textiles, Ludlow, MA. He retired in 1979. In addition to his wife, Jeanie, Everett is survived by 2 sons, Peter J., companion of Roberta Ball, Lancaster, PA, David H., husband of Carol Mack-Warner, of Media, PA; 3 grandchildren, Paul D. Warner, Broad Brook, CT, Christina R. Warner, Philadelphia, PA and Evan J. Warner, Granby, MA. Services will be at 11AM on Friday, December, 27, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St, Millersville, PA.
