Evelyn G. Sabatine, 67, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Shiel) and Donat Sabatine, Jr.

Evelyn was a proud graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indiana Institute of Technology in 1982. She dedicated over 25 years of her professional life to Cargill Inc., where she worked as a Process Improvement Specialist, respected for her knowledge, hard work, and commitment to excellence.

A woman of deep faith, Evelyn was a devoted member of St. Anne and Our Lady of La Vang Parish. She lived her faith not only through her devotion to the church but also through the many ways she quietly gave of herself. Evelyn found joy in reading, especially the Bible, and expressed her creativity and warmth through playing the piano and baking, often sharing her treats at church socials.

Evelyn is survived by a sister, Claire Weaver, a nephew, Matthew Weaver, and relatives in Ireland.

Evelyn's life will be celebrated with a closed casket visitation from 9:00-10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial with The Rev. Tri Minh Luong as Celebrant at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at St. Anne and Our Lady of La Vang Parish, 929 N. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
