Evelyn B. Kautz, 79, of 168 Fox  Road, Newmanstown, PA died Monday night, August 28, 2006, at St. Anne's Retirement Community. Born in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of  the late

James W. and Blanche Shomo Boyer. Evelyn was the wife of the late Eugene C. Kautz who died August 12, 2001. Mrs. Kautz was the organist at Bethany United Methodist Church for 32 years. She was a member of Grace Church of Lititz. She was an avid sports fan of football and baseball.

Surviving is a son James E. husband of Martha Kautz of Newmanstown, Pa and a grandson, Bryan M. Kautz. She was preceded in death  by a sister Lois Hilton.

Funeral Services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, on Thursday at 4:00PM. Interment will be private. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Thursday from 3:00- 4:00PM. Please omit flowers, contributions may be made in Evelyn's memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O.
