Evelyn (Evie) L. Bieber-Freuler passed away 12/20/21 at the age of 86. Born in Queens, NY, Evelyn was an educator who influenced the lives of many children throughout her years as a teacher in the Matawan, NJ school system. She went on to work at the New Jersey State Department of Education where she ensured the standards of schools in Monmouth County, NJ. Due to her helpful nature and friendly demeanor, Evie was well liked by everyone who met her. She was a creative person who enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing the piano and discussing science subjects. Evelyn resided many years in Somerset, NJ and Sedona, AZ with her late husband, Thomas Freuler, and most recently settled in Lititz, PA. Evelyn is survived by her loving children, Mark Bieber of New York, NY, Jodi (Bieber) McClure of Lititz, PA, and stepdaughter Susan Mennel of Raritan, NJ; her grandchildren Keith, Jackie and May; and great-grandchildren, Valentina, Julian and Akira. May she rest in peace.
