Eugene Walter Martin, 93, of Lititz, passed away at Wellspan Ephrata Hospital on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was the son of the late Walter Eugene Martin and Emma Fern (Robinson) Martin. He was also the devoted husband to Nancy (Patterson) Martin for 73 beautiful years.

After graduating from high school, Eugene proudly served his country in the Army. Following his honorable discharge in 1952, Eugene became a manager at PennDOT up until his retirement.

In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, often going golfing, hunting, and camping. He also held his family close and took great pride in being able to provide for them.

He is survived by his son, Gary Martin, husband of Eileen; and grandchild Tania Zaliznock, wife of Craig. Eugene is preceded in death by his 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Friends and family will be welcomed at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Saturday, March 29 from 10-11AM, with a funeral service to follow at 11AM. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Neffsville, PA.
