Esteban Matos,73, of Lancaster died Sunday, September 15, 2007 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Juan Matos and Fermina Cruz. Esteban was a machine operator at Miller and Hess and retired in 1983.

Surviving are two daughters; Teresa Matos Meyers married to Alan Noble of Shillington, Lisa Marie Matos of Ephrata, two sons: Steven Matos married to Kathi Good, of Ephrata, Robert Matos married to Bernice McLain of Ephrata, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three; sisters: Monserrate married to Avellino DeJesus of Lancaster, Modesta married to Raymond Ocasio of Mexico, Mersede Nabario of Puerto Rico, two brothers: Candy Matos of Reading, Juan Nabarro of Florida. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gabriel Matos.

A funeral service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster on Thursday at 11:00AM. Interment will be in Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 7-9PM and on Thursday morning from 10-11AM.
