Ernest Phelps Saxton, 79, of Lititz, passed away on Friday, November 2nd, 2007 after a short battle with cancer. Prayers from family and well wishers for a peaceful passing, safe from pain were answered. After living a full life marked by industry and compassion, Ernest passed with dignity and strength.

Ernest is survived by Stavroula, loving wife of 55 years, four sons: Ernest, James, Jeffrey, and Jonathon, loving daughters-in-law and 10 grandchildren. He will also be lovingly missed by his sister, Roberta Gumm. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Saxton.

At the request of the family, private remembrances were held. If desired, contributions can be made to a local cancer treatment organization.
