Ernest C. Roy, 62, of Lancaster, passed away on September 26, 2022 in Salt Lake City, UT as the result of a trucking accident. Born in Lawrence, Mass he was the son of the late Mavis (Austin) and Albert F. Roy, Jr. He was the beloved husband to Robin (Findley) Roy.

Ernie was a graduate of Penn Manor High School. Ernie was a truck driver for 28 years and worked the past year for A&D Carrier. He enjoyed collecting 18 wheel trucks, was an avid Dale Earnhart fan. In his free time, he enjoyed detailing his trucks and cars and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Alexandria Roy of Lancaster; his stepson Travis Findley of Lancaster; grandchildren: Dante Findley, Jayleon Hester, Jaylynn Hester and J'vyen Hester; his siblings: Dan Roy husband of Virginia of Lancaster, Carol Wetzel of New Holland, Susan Wile of Lancaster and Vicki Kauffman wife of Bernard of Lancaster and numerous niece's and nephew's and great niece's and nephew's Also Jerome Hester father of three of his Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Rodney and Donna Roy and his beloved cats Glory and Patches.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Friends and family will be received from 2PM-3PM. Interment will be private.
