Erlinda "Linda" Cavaneyro Siaton, 78, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 surrounded by family. Born on January 14, 1942 in La Union Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Godofredo and Adela Quibin. She was the loving wife of Tomas Siaton for over 50 years.
Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting from the University of Santo Tomas. It was through her first job at Ayers Laboratories in Manila that she met a handsome auditor who would become her future husband. She worked for several companies throughout her career, including MacMillan Publishing, Entenmann's Bakery, and Singer Corporation.
Linda was a devout catholic with a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Clemmons, NC, St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Lancaster, PA, and the Bukas Loob Sa Diyos (BLD) charismatic prayer group. Linda enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling and dancing. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Warren Siaton (Jo Lynn) of Malvern, PA, Christine Siaton of Phoenixville, PA and Dr. Bernadette Siaton (Steve String) of Baltimore, MD; her 8 grandchildren: Alex, Christian, Ella, Daniel, Ava, Sophia, Lily, and Darren. She is preceded in death by her son, Gerry Siaton.
A visitation will take place on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George Street, Millersville, PA 17551. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601. Family and friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A private burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's name may be made to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church , address above.
