Eris M. McCoy, 92, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on December 18, 2017 at The Meadows at Blue Ridge Nursing Home. Born in Hegins, PA, she was the daughter of the late John & Fronie (Coleman) Huntsinger. Eris was the loving wife to the late Robert S. McCoy. She was a Penn State graduate, and worked as an administrator in the health field and later in retail. Eris was of the Lutheran faith. She loved doing crossword puzzles, was an avid reader, liked football and was quite the bargain shopper. Surviving is a son, Robert M. McCoy; a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Brown; 5 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren & 3 step-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Patrick McCoy; a grandson, Andrew McCoy Brown; and siblings: Ruth Borchert and Elvin, Jean & Ruben Huntsinger. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
