Erik S. Hanna, 31, went to The Lord and his earthly father who preceded him in death on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at his mother's home in Strasburg. He was the husband of Stephanie L. Brubaker Hanna for 6 years. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Kathy J. Ratliff Hanna Baker of Strasburg and the late Scott L. Hanna.

A graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School, Erik worked as a certified nurse's aid at Conestoga View. An avid football fan, he loved the Steelers and playing on the Stubbies flag football team. Erik especially enjoyed playing with his son Scott.

Erik's family includes his wife Stephanie and their son Scott L. Hanna, both of Mount Joy, his mother Kathy of Strasburg; sisters Krista M. Hanna of Kinzers and Elizabeth R. Hanna of Lititz; grandmothers Geannie Ratliff of York and Marian Hanna of Lampeter; and beloved extended family.

A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 6:30 PM at High View Church of God, 2470 Leaman Road, Ronks, PA, with Pastor Dwight E. Lefever officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service. Private interment in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
