Emmanuel Joseph and Nicolas Michael Mesiti, twin sons of Michael and Gloria (Velez) Mesiti of Mount Joy, passed peacefully on April 16th and April 24th respectively at Woman and Babies Hospital. They only knew love: from their mother and into the arms of their family for a short time, Emmanuel and Nicolas are now being loved by Jesus for eternity. In addition to their parents, Emmanuel and Nicolas are survived by a sister Isabelle Sofia Mesiti; paternal grandparents James and Madeline Mesiti of Millsboro, DE; maternal grandparents Jaime and Ofir Velez of Medellin, Colombia; uncle Stan Cherry, aunt Leslie Mesiti and her son Ethan of Lancaster, PA and three uncles Jaime Velez, Julian Velez and sons Thomas and Jeronimo and Mario Velez all of Medellin, Colombia. The family extends a special thank you to friends and family for their love and support. Also to the doctors and nurses at Women and Babies Hospital for their unrelenting care. The prayers, love, support and tears shared will be remembered and remain within our hearts forever. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday May 19th 4:00 PM at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, 170 Charles Rd. Lancaster, PA 17603. Contributions in memory of Emmanuel and Nicolas may be made to the Butterfly Fund Endowment at Woman and Babies Hospital or the March of Dimes.
