Emma C. Steffy, 85, of Lancaster, PA passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at Hamilton Arms.

Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Anna (Miller) Steffy. Emma worked in the credit department for the former J.C. Snavely & Sons Company and also many years with the former Slaymaker Lock Company. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was active with the Legion of Mary, Altar and Rosary Society, Golden Hills Senior Citizens and AARP. She was past president of the Red Rose City Chapter Sweet Adelines.

She was the last of her immediate family. Emma is survived by a longtime friend Patsy P. wife of J. Roger Drolet of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her brother John A. Steffy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10AM from St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St. Lancaster, PA 17603. Interment will be held in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. A viewing will take place from 9AM until the time of her funeral mass at church.
